Posted on January 13, 2012 at 11:46am 0 Comments

The following came across my desk this morning. I figure if anyone is looking for the hardest working hands in America, Proud to Dairy is a good place to start.

From the company's press release:

Who has the hardest working hands in America? O’Keeffe’s wants to find out. Severely dry hands, often a work-related ailment that goes untreated, can be both painful and debilitating. That’s why O’Keeffe’s Company, makers of Working Hands dry skin cream, is seeking and…

Earlier this month I had the opportunity to share Proud to Dairy with 45 young dairy enthusiasts at the Professional Dairy Producers of Wisconsin (PDPW) Youth Leadership Derby held in Milton, Wisconsin. The weekend was filled with tours and interactive workshops. As soon as participants arrived at the high school, they were treated to lunch by the Milton FFA Alumni. After a brief moment for… Continue

Hi Karen -- so good to hear from you. I was just thinking about you the other day and wondering if you would be at World Dairy Expo this year. I'm going to try to get there for a day or two. Things are going gangbusters at the DBIC - always a full load of people who want to do value-added products, which is great. The cheese festival in November is going really well, too. Out of 660 total tickets, I have exactly 46 left, and we're still seven weeks out. Apparently there are more people out there besides me who like cheese. Whoo-hoo! I will watch for the piece in Progressive Dairyman about the Pentermans. Marieke is one of my favorite cheesemakers.
