I don't think we were critiquing her, we were just testing her resolve in the examples she made up. By the end of the internship she seemed very confident about what she was presenting, which was good to see.

Haha AP style training was way fun. Basically, I tried to "train" the editorial staff using a book with writing guidelines. I came up with examples to test them, but most of the staff already knew the guidelines so they ended up just critiquing the examples I was supposed to be training them with!
