Tie Stall barn that holds 50 with Dairy Master automatic takeoffs. We have 240 acres that we own and rent another 75-130 depends on the year. We used to rent close to 250 acres but grain farmers have more cash to throw around than we do. Peter worked off the farm as a tractor mechanic for many years, so that comes in very handy especially on IN equipment. :)
We are currently milking about 95 cows. My parents started the farm in the mid 70's. I worked on the farm till i graduated high school and then pursued employment as a carpenter. I still worked on the farm nites and weekends, and my wife and kids and I live on the main farm. This past December my mom suffered an arm injury while milking and i decided to give up the construction and go full-time farming.
