If you haven’t visited the Proud to Dairy site recently, you may not be aware of how easy it is to share videos, blogs and photos with members of your favorite social networking sites.
• The “Favorite” button featuring an image of a thumb
This “thumbs-up” button is for Proud to Dairy members only. You’ll have to be signed into your account to click it, and then you’ll be able to let other members know about your favorite content. Remember the Zuppan triplets photo? Three members have “favorited” it.
Not yet a member of Proud to Dairy? Just click the “Sign Up” button in the top right corner to get started.
• The “Like” button for Facebook
You’ll need to be signed into your Facebook profile in order to click this “Like” button. By clicking the “Like” button, the Proud to Dairy site will automatically post a link to your Facebook profile page. Customize the text to let your Facebook friends know why that blog, photo or video is worth their time. That same Zuppan photo has been “Liked” on Facebook 130 times.
• The “+1” photo for the Google+ plugin
You must have a Google+ profile to click the “+1” button. By clicking the “+1” button, the Proud to Dairy site will automatically post a link to the voter’s Google+ page.
• The “t” button for Twitter
If you’re an avid tweeter, you’ll want to try out the “Twitter” button. The Proud to Dairy site will generate a tweet for your Twitter profile, but be sure to add your hashtags and user handles. You may be asked to sign into your Twitter account and allow Proud to Dairy access.
• The “Share” button
Go directly to the “Share” button to see options for sharing on Facebook and Twitter as well as sites like StumbleUpon and Digg. With “Share,” you can also email a link and provide a personalized message.
