June Dairy Month is quickly approaching, and as usual, those involved with the Proud to Dairy site are pretty excited about it. This year, we thought we would try another photo contest.
Current members may recall our
2010 photo contest with 10 submissions from members.
Below are the details for the 2012 photo contest.
How to enter:
Beginning June 1, upload a photo of yourself wearing your Proud to Dairy hat. Feel free to get creative: Pose with your favorite cow, use your favorite dairy setting as a backdrop or get a group of Proud to Dairy hat-wearing friends together.
We’ll randomly select a weekly winner. The photo with the most Facebook likes at the end of the month will win the grand prize.
All photos meeting the criteria and uploaded to Proud to Dairy during June 1 through June 30 will be considered for prizes.
The prizes are being provided by Vetericyn, part of Innovacyn, Inc.
Our weekly winners will receive their choice of one 16-oz. bottle of Teat Spray; Umbilical, Navel & Udder Gel; or Pink Eye Spray. Our grand prize winner will receive their choice of three bottles.
You’ll have to be a Proud to Dairy member to upload your photo submission. The good news is joining the site is super-easy and free.
Not yet a member? Click “Sign Up” in the top right corner of your screen.
Provide your email address (we never share this with outside parties), create a password and provide your birth date (which you may choose to hide from view).
Pass a couple quick security tests so we know you’re not a spammer. One is the captcha code you have to type correctly on most online sites. The other is to provide your eye color. Easy peasy, right?
Don’t have a Proud to Dairy hat yet?
Not to worry. You can earn a free hat in just a bit of time by joining the site and posting a blog or video, telling us what makes you Proud to Dairy.
You can also purchase a hat by visiting http://bit.ly/PP2011_hats (or clicking on the hat advertisement at www.progressivedairy.com).
We also have hats available for purchase to show you’re a reader of all our publications: Progressive Dairyman, Progressive Cattleman and Progressive Forage Grower.
