hi Walt.......Larry is Aaron's Dad. We get your newsletter by email and today I just decided to sign us up as I ws searching your website. Larry did one of your videos at World Dairy Expo last Fall. I'm looking forward to sending you information about Milk Makers Fest after next weeks event in Lynden. Cheryl
I found out about 'Proud to Dairy' from Progressive Dairymen. I would like to stay involved in social media to improve consumer awareness about our industry. I feel that HSUS and PETA have a head start, and we need to catch up!
heard about it from I think Emily. Either way, I am always perusing the ag industry for people and companies that are pursuing social media as a means of communications - this site is great! I showed it off to about 100 students at the PAS National Conference in Hershey, PA today.
Thanks Walt! I found out about "Pround to Dairy" in the Progressive Dairymen magazine i am a big reader of that magazine and i figured this was a way to meet Dairy Farmers and people around it the dairy industry all around the world.
Hi Walt, I recently saw the "Proud to Dairy" poster in Progressive Dairy, and I really wanted one, so I checked online to see where to send the coin and I found this website. I still need my poster, but I am excited about this blog... if that's what you call it! We have a blog with farmers across the country we met through the Outstanding Farmers of America, but we only have one other dairy farmer on there, so I thought it would be very beneficial to be part of this. Thanks for the welcome!
He'll graduate in 2011. After that, we're moving wherever I get a job. His degree is versatile enough that he could get a job anywhere. My choice would be somewhere out West where I could write for the dairy industry.
Hi Walt, Yea we get that a lot. Vicky and I both feel we had very little to do with it. Probably had more to do with Emily's ability to pick good friends. But we are very proud of what she has done in her first 21 years. How's the weather in Idaho? We seem to be having an "old fashioned winter" with lots of snow, cold and ice.Good time to have all the cows dry!!
Hi Walt. I first saw information about the "Proud to Dairy" site in a recent issue of Progressive Dairyman (my parent's subscribe). However, my wife Charlene was the one who passed me the link to this site. It's very cool, and I think the cow logo is a great eye-catcher! If it's here, I haven't found it yet, but I'm looking forward to seeing some sort of e-store where I can get a hat or shirt!! So are you planning on making Emily Caldwell your new membership director??? : )
